Top 4 Best Thrift Shops in Chicago

Meet Carter Crayne

Carter Crayne is one of our interns at Clubhouse Athletic and Campus Ink this summer. One of Carter's biggest hobbies is thrifting, with Carter living in downtown Chicago this summer, he has experienced some cool thrift stores around the Lincoln Park and Wicker Park. Check out Carter's top 4 picks.

1. Round Two Chicago (@roundtwovintagechi)

1501 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
Round Two Vintage is a very well-known resale store where you can get some of the most unique graphic tees, sneakers and more. It is located on the corner of North Milwaukee and North Honore. This place can be a little pricey but everything is one of a kind!

2. Buffalo Exchange (@buffaloexchange)

Location 1: 1478 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
Location 2: 5252 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60640
Carter says, if you wanna get the best stuff you have to go right when they open around 11. Most items are $4-$20.

3. Belmont Army Vintage (@belmontarmyvintage)

925 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657
Belmont Army Vintage is a very hipster place. Stop in here if you want to add some color and funk to your wardrobe. There are a lot of different styles there so plan to spend a good amount of time looking through everything.

4. Crossroads Trading (@crossroadstrading)

1519 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
It's between Buffalo Exchange and Round Two. There are more curated pieces. The prices are a little higher than an average thrift store but the prices are worth what you're buying.
