Picking a bid day theme is one of the most exciting parts of recruitment. It means welcoming your PNM's and it is the first celebration of them joining your chapter. When picking a theme there is a couple things to think of

1. Ride of your life

The first theme is 'Ride of your Life'. This theme is focused around race cars  and motorcycles.

Decorations

For decorations use checkered flags, painted fire flames on large Greek letters, tires, balloons and car themed items. Think Harley Davidson and Nascar. 

Accessories 

For accessories use chain necklaces, leather clothing, bandanas, sunglasses, and combat boots. The look to go for is biker, we suggest pinteresting ideas for outfits. Check out these links!

Colors

For colors use red, orange, yellow and black.

Gifts

For gifts we suggest fanny packs or custom sunglasses.

Food
Hotdogs, hamburgers and popcorn are great food options for this theme.  

 

2. Candyland

Decorations

For decorations use ice cream painted letters, doughnut painted letters, doughnut wall, oversized fake candy. 

Accessories

Use ALOT of colorful glitter, candy necklaces, tutu skirts, and colorful socks.

Colors

Use any rainbow colors or pick a specific candy you want to surround your theme around.  Since there are so many options, colors in this theme are fun to pick!

Bags of assorted candy and candy necklaces. 

Food

For this theme any types of sweets will work! Arragne a candy table or doughnut wall for photo ops. 

3. Ice Ice Bid Day

Decorations

Paint letters to look like they're covered in snow, use fake snow, snowflake confetti, and silver and blue balloons.

Accessories

Use silver and blue glitter, feather boas, Santa hats, blue lipstick, and silver shorts.

Colors
Use silver, light / dark blue, and white for the colors.

Gifts

blue rock candy, snow globes, and blue heart glasses are all great gifts for this theme.

4. Year 3000

Decorations
